Video Tape Lessons, you send us your video taped rides and $45.
We will email you our response to your tape and if needed a printed copy of the email, as soon as we have reviewed it, several times! The tape can be as long as you like. Charge is per tape. It is a super lesson for you, you'll see!
Video Taped Lessons are one of the best tools to watch yourself ride, get positive direction, training exercises, helpful hints, proper grooming and dressing etiquette.
Perfect example: in a past weekend at Lee Anne's dressage show, she raised her score over 12 points by going home and watching her video, which she gladly paid Hoof print Photo's. Susie is the best video and picture taker!
This is the lesson plan for all of you who can't get to either of our locations. A real bargain! You will love having this lesson, you will want to do it weekly.
Checks only to: Country Lee Farm, 103 Laden Town Road, Pomona, NY 10970.

Summer Riding Program
Every Summer the local day camps come for riding lessons. Each camp has their own separate days that they come. We try and teach every camper just to have fun and a respect for the horses. They learn to stop, steer, mount, dismount, back, walk, trot and if they are able, canter and jump. Basic safety, and horse management are also explained and practiced. They must wear certified helmets and sturdy shoes. The camps are all accredited and have wonderful reputations. We also go to camps and give pony rides for the smaller riders and nursery. If you go to any of the three local camps you can ask if you can come for lessons. Or if you are interested in a summer job you can come and work the camp. Work arrangements must be done through our lesson program. Call the farm and speak to Lee Anne for details. Leasing of horse, horse board and many other options can be made. The head instructor is certified ARICP, CPR, and RTE, Red Cross.
Special, Therapeutic, Equine, Education, Development ("STEED")
a certified division of NARHA
STEED is a handicap riding program that helps anyone with therapy needs on horseback. Today it is known as Hippo therapy. STEED meets for 8 weeks in the spring and 8 more weeks in the fall. STEED is always on Sundays. If you want more information on Steed and how to enroll someone in it you can feel free to call Country Lee Farm. STEED is always looking for Volunteers to help out. Volunteers must be over 14 years of age and be responsible. The hours that you help out can become community service hours. STEED is a certified NARHA teaching program. They have made their home at the farm for 18 years. They regularly compete in the regional and national horse shows. Some of their horses double for mounted sheriffs duty and have won many awards. They have a staff that is the most dedicated and efficient. They have been honored by their national associations. The program is run by certified trainers Gaye Collins and Joan Schnider. They compete in the Special Olympics every year, and have even come home with blue ribbons. We are very proud our long standing relationship with STEED. Donations of horses, equipment and of course money to keep it all going is always accepted. All donations are tax deductible, just contact us. Also please visit: www.redhorseriding.com
